Hudson's 4-Month Check-Up
We had Hudson's 4 month well visit on Monday. It was almost as if he knew what the Doctor was asking; each time she asked me something about him, he would do it -- lift his head, roll over, make eye contact, turn in the direction of a voice. And he smiled the entire time, well except for the shots, when he gave a big pucker and looked up at my with his big sad eyes.
Hudson weighed in at 14 lbs, 3 oz (50%), measured 25 1/4 inches (60%), and his head was in the 70%. He had to get 4 shots and one oral vaccination. Which of course left him with a little fever today.
Mason was very good on our visit. For the first time in 26 months he did not shed one tear or kick and scream when the nurse came in. He brought along his Dr. kit and used all of his tools just like the Doctor. Lucky Hudson, he got to be poked and prodded by the Dr. and Mason!
